Is it a good idea to work in computer security field?

i am 19 years old and doing my B.E. (bachelor of engineering) in computer,
i am interested in working in computer security field in the future, specifically – protecting databases, designing anti-virus softwares etc.
what special kind of knowledge is required for working in this field i.e. any programming languages to learn etc.
please provide detailed info

Computer security is good idea for futur but u need know thing below -:

U need to know some of programming language and SQL must be on the first place if u want to protect databases.

Making an antivirus software is hard and u need a team of developers to do that.

Try to learn about common hacking attacks and how to prevent them.

In this field, google must be your number 1 friend cause u can find usefull information using google.

Connect with some people who have experience in this field to share information with you.

U must stay up to date (i mean your head) to know what you should do……

Computer security is the hottest field where demand is more with no supply. Hence getting a job in computer security is high with Good package.I would suggest to lean on topics like “ethical hacking” and developing “antivirus software”.
