Computer security and forensic investigation certificate?
considering getting this with the associates at my community college? any thoughts, etc? anyone know what certain jobs i could get with it?

Associate degree might be your first step, but most employers are looking for people with system admin experience or professional certificate. You should make sure that your associate degree prepares you for one of the information security certifications. Something like the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or maybe Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)

If you look at the descriptions for these careers you see the SANS Institute classes that you might take for that career. Compare these classes with what your associate degree covers, to determine how well your certificate will prepare you for one of these careers.
