What is the best internet security suite for Windows XP Media Center edition?

I just put McAfee on my Media Center machine and this thing crashes more often than a drunk driver. I cannot do a thing on this computer now. Seems like a good waste of 49.99. Is it that Media Center has a tough time with anti-virus software, or that McAfee has a lot of bugs in internet security 2007?

They all honestly suck, but if i was forced to choose one I would go with Symantec.

don’t use those internet security suites. they’re a waste of money and they don’t work as well. Here are the best of the best programs that are free

I’ve had Symantec for over 3 years. They’ve never failed me once. Honestly, I believe they’re the best. Great, in-depth virus scans and thorough protection.

richards rite on the money; don’t waste $ on bloatware like mcaffee and norton……get ‘em lite weight, fast, and FREE!
these suites are often made to ‘hook’ the kernel, and windows doesn’t like any funny business like that.
stick with the lighter stuff.
