Which internet security is best overall and has free tech support? Which one has a simple user interface?

I want complete internet security protection.(Ex. anti-virus, anti-spyware, email protection, firewall, antiphishing, etc. Also not sure if any have free tech support, but just need to be able to call them and have them help me troubleshoot issues free of charge .

A tech support friend advised me to stay away from the security suites and use layered protection instead.

All of the following have forums where you can get help. I believe their paid versions offer free tech support. I’ve been very happy with the free ones.

Download, install, update and scan with the following free:

AVG Free from http://free.avg.com/ – this is an anti-virus, ensure that you only have one anti-virus program installed on your computer

You can have multiple anti-spyware/malware/adware programs to scan, ensure they are legitimate. I suggest the following:

SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition from http://www.superantispyware.com or http://www.download.com

Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware…
Valid downloads of Malwarebytes only come from these sites:
http://www.download.com
http://www.majorgeeks.com
http://projects.securitywonks.net

Spybot Search & Destroy from http://www.safer-networking.org – activate TeaTimer and ensure that you immunize every time you update (Spybot S & D updates on Thursday)

Ad-Aware 2008 Free from http://www.lavasoft.com

CCleaner is a good tool to run once in awhile http://www.ccleaner.com/

Firefox is a much safer browser than IE http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.0.5/releasenotes/

Norton Internet Security 2009 is very good. I doubt if you could get better protection by adding a bunch of different security programs. Plus you would be using a lot of ram with all those programs. Kaspersky Internet Security is also good. You can get help on their forums. You won’t find free support. The reason being that many users get infected all the time it would cost them a ton of money to help user clean out their computers.
These user don’t get infected because the security software fails they get infected because they have very unsafe internet habits. View porn, Download illegal music, those kind of things.

Securing Windows operating systems from Internet assault & increasing predation, is not a single application, or even a suite.
It’s layers of protection, user habits, system configuration, real time protection; and most important, threat landscape awareness (because the internet is so fluid and dynamic, it changes almost hourly).

Stand alone suites (CareOne, McAfee, or Norton) give users ‘feel good’ security, and lull them into complacency, which often has very bad results.

Look through some of the suggested freeware here,
http://www.snapfiles.com/Freeware/security/fwsecuritytools.html
study up, and pick some of the frontline, real-time defenses. Create a restore point after each install, then run the system to verify that application’s ‘friendliness’ with your system before adding other applications.
Make selections based on your skill level & system’s other configurations…an application you can’t work with is of little use.
Generally speaking: as a system’s convenience, interactiveness, flexibility & complexity increase: security decreases.

Sorry, but using Windows requires you to become a security expert, it’s that simple. Something they omit telling you when you buy this system…

you can secure your emails, cds/dvds, usb flesh drives with Folder Lock, its has very unique and amazing features, if you face any problem with it your can easily contact their customer support, i am also using this program and i found it secure and reliable, it also secures my data from viruses, trojans and hackers also, you can try it too, i downloaded it from here,

I think “NO32 Internet Security” is the TOP security program of all others. You should go for it if you are want whole security wither online or offline.
