How do I completely remove Norton Internet Security 2007?

I’m try to uninstall Norton Internet Security 2007 and reload it with a new key but when I uninstall the old key is still in the system.
I have already ran add/remove programs and used symantec’s removal tool.

You’ll have to do some registry editing to completely remove it. Simply delete every Norton/Symantec key you find in the registry, as well as folders under the Program Files directory.

after you do the add/remove uninstall you will need to get the symantec removal tool (from there site)
i would run a registry cleaner after that also to make sure its gone (nis 2007)
because norton is very picky if theres anything left of another app. it diesnt like to install

go to “my computer” “add/remove programs” then find the file, then click “change/remove” then remove it. hope this helps

Go into safe mode and do your removal from add / remove then run your Norton Removal Tool while still in safe mode.

Just change the key unless you hacked it then you have and issue
