When can you delete security updates that are old from your computer?

I have security updates dating back from 2008, should I keep them on my computer in the Add or Remove File? I am getting updates all the time, but do not know when to remove the old ones.

You DONT remove them unless you want problems on your pc! Thats lijke saying “Can I take the parts out of my car that the repairman put in to fix it 2 years ago?”

Hello,
on a Windows Computer you can safely remove older Windows Updates (dated before the Service Pack) after installing the latest Service Pack:

Most Service Packs do that automatically.

You never delete updates. They patch errors in your system.

If you don’t want to see them in Add/Remove, click the box at the top that says Hide Updates.
