Eleven public meetings scheduled to focus on ammonium nitrate security program

The National Protection and Programs Directorate of DHS is planning a series of at least 11 public meetings in cities primarily in the South and West at which DHS officials will discuss a new security program to regulate the sale and transfer of ammonium nitrate, which could be used as an explosive in an act of terrorism.
