Does my Computer have to many Security and Anti Virus programs slowing it down? ?
Does my computer have to many anti virus programs or security slowing it down? I have a 1 year old HP pavillion PC with Vista, i have AOL and Firefox loaded on it and I have an expensive Spy Sweeper with Anti Virus that I bought from Best Buy loaded on.
If I have to much which programs should I drop and where and how, thanks so much.

AOL software uses a lot of Ram. At least it use to. I don’t know about Spy Sweeper with Anti-Virus. Here’s how you check. Right click on your taskbar, then click task manager, then click on Processes. This shows all running processes on your computer. So if you see
firefox.exe 75,000k. Firefox is using 75 mb or ram. Now you can see what spy sweeper is using. I use Norton Internet Security 2009 it only uses about 7 mb ram. If Spy sweeper is using more than 40 mb or ram. You might want to change. But before you do that get a Startup Manager.
