Another example of why some dislike Uber

There is ambition. And then there is the way Uber CEO Travis Kalanick described his vision for his company at a recent forum at Boston College. From a story on Boston.com:

 “The way we look at it, maybe the easiest way to put it, is if you’re on the top of one of these skyscrapers in the city and you look down and you see all these cars,” he said. “We ask ourselves, ‘Why aren’t all of those cars Uber?’”

Oh, I don’t know, maybe because that would be an obscenity of capitalistic excess? Or maybe because we’ve learned that monopolies benefit the monopolists at the expense of the public?
