I think ,The Computer are the creation of the humans.Human brain can do anything.If the programmer program the computer as thinking as humans he might be get success at some level.Also Don’t you think every person has their own thinking which is different from others ! But still as programmer’s Point of view I am concluding this ,”Thing is depends on programmer that how he mad the program which includes every psychology event of humans.

yes , it is common saying to catch a thief , think like a thief .

so if a computer security analyst can think like a hacker then only he will be able to protect the valuable data .
