Google urges students to do their laundry

A Reddit user reports recently: “Google did a tech talk at my school yesterday and gave us laundry bags as swag.”

And as you can see from the picture above, the bag uses one of my favorite Google features to get across the message that with enrollment in college comes an obligation to learn to do laundry.

Google is apparently not alone in pitching this advice:

“Laundry bags are the go-to campus giveaway,” notes another forum user. “I have many, many Dentine Ice laundry bags from my freshman year of college.”

But why stop with laundry bags? Another Redditor claims: “We got Google cars.”
