Your computer is infected. The program, Personal Security is a scam and a virus in itself.

“Personal Security is a rogue anti-spyware program from the same family as Cyber Security. This program is promoted through the use of malware that will install it on your computer without your permission. In order to protect itself, this program will automatically attempt to terminate security programs that may help to remove it. When installed, Personal Security will be configured to start automatically when Windows starts. Once started, it will scan your computer and display a variety of infections, but will state that it will not remove them unless you first purchase the program. In reality, the infections it finds are either fake or legitimate programs that if deleted could cause problems with the proper operation of Windows. Therefore, please do not act upon any of the files it states are infections.”

Just scroll down to: “Automated Removal Instructions for Personal Security using Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware:” and follow the directions. Do not use any programs advertised at the top of that page.

    Good luck.

Personal Security is a misleading anti-spyware application that displays fake security alerts/pop-ups and reports false system security threats or infections to scare you into thinking that your computer is infected with malicious software. PersonalSecurity is a clone of widely spread Cyber Security and Total Security malware. The rogue program simulates a system scan and asks to pay for a full version of Personal Security in order to remove non-exist infections. In fact, the reported security threats or infections are actually either non-existing/harmless files or legitimate software. This malware will likely block real security software to protect itself from being deleted. Most importantly, do not purchase this bogus application and uninstall Personal Security from your computer as soon as possible…

There is a provision of removing it manually..

as said above, that not a great thing to have running amuck on your computer.

I want you to consider one thing, you have no idea what else is lurking in the background logging your passwords etc. Even if you remove this problem you might have other issues.

Backup your data on dvds, an external drives etc, restore your computer back to the factory settings using your recovery disk, start again. its easier to refresh nowadays malware is very sophisticated and hides everywhere.
