How do I take off Security Tool from my computer completely?
By mistake, Security Tool was installed in my computer while I was browsing the web. I believe it is some kind of virus because it kept telling me my PC is infected, so I need to use their tool. I can’t locate it using “Add & remove” at Control panel, Avast, or EasyCleaner. Then my PC got paralyzed. I was able to make it run again using System Restore. How do I make sure it’s not in my PC anymore? Please help… Thank you.
go to control panel and uninstal program and u will find it
no its not dont worry! =D <3
search it in the start menu and right click you should see uninstall
Revo Uninstaller will solve your problems. http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html
Umm, simple. Check by seeing if its uninstalled first. Then get a good antivirus program like avast:
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html
And a good antimalware software:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/
Just run those in safe mode, or normal mode. And see what you get. Then your good to go!
I can’t take credit for this, search questions here at yahoo! answers for: ‘How do I delete security tool virus?’

good luck
Most viruses run when you turn on your computer.
You cannot remove something that is running; so either go to [Start] and [Run…] or create a shortcut to ‘msconfig.exe’; load it up, click the ‘Start-up’ tab and disable and unnecessary start-up entries.
Restart your computer, and hopefully you would have disabled the virus.
Download and install some good anti-virus software from the Internet (www.thepiratebay.org), e.g. Zone Alarm is a good choice and scan your entire computer.
If all goes to fail, then I would just backup your files and reinstall.
Also, go to regedit.exe
