If you’d like to uninstall Norton 360, you may be able to do so by going to the Control Panel and clicking on “Uninstall a program” under the “Programs” section.

From there, you should select Norton 360 in the list of programs and then click on the “Uninstall” button, which is located above the list of programs.

If you are unable to uninstall Norton 360, perhaps you should try booting your computer into Safe Mode with Networking by pressing F8 while your computer is booting up and then trying to uninstall Norton 360 again.

Good luck and I hope I helped you!

    Hi lara,

Mike from the Norton Authorized Support team responding to your question.

What you need to do is to properly remove Norton Internet Security and then install Norton 360. please follow the instructions below.

    1. Click on the following link to download the Norton Removal Tool:

    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039?Open&docid=2001074957656166&nsf=sunset-c2002kb.nsf&view=0

    2. After you run the tool, please restart your computer. Then log in to Windows again and run the removal tool again. Restart your computer after it is finished running the second time as well.

    3. You can now install Norton 360 version 4. Use the new Activation Key with Norton 360.

    Thank you,
    Mike

It is not recommended to uninstall Norton Internet security manually for this will leave down some entries both in program files and registry, in my opinion, unless you are good enough on computers. Good luck!
