Huawei P40 series grabbing May 2022 HarmonyOS update


Huawei is planning to launch the massive version of HarmonyOS 3.0 as well as the mobile phone version of OpenHarmony 3.1 by September this year. Well, that says a new leak by the Weibo Blogger Factory Director Shi Guan.

The leaker further suggests that terminal products that equip the open-source Hongmeng system are also under observation. In other words, the company is making efforts to accelerate the OpenHarmony system-related technologies to benefit the tech makers in the time ahead.

HarmonyOS 3.0

Earlier, Huawei officially reported launching the HarmonyOS 3.0 Beta in the month of March. Following the statement, the Chinese tech maker also added to release the stable build by the end of the second quarter of this year. However, things do not work always, as decided.

It looks like the next HarmonyOS version will take some more time in internal testing. Meanwhile, the latest information hints at the add-ons that the system will bring for the users.

Though there are not many implements to the UI of the system. Yet, individuals will find finer optimizations in terms of interaction logic and experience. In comparison to the previous versions, the upcoming build has a few modifications.

Besides, one can find better connectivity functions with the system. Moreover, it also boosts the sharing performance among multiple devices.

OpenHarmony 3.1

Apart from the Huawei HarmonyOS 3.0, the OpenHarmony 3.1 arrived by the end of March this year. The Open Atom Open Source Foundation unveiled the release version with a bunch of fundamental features that ease the routine tasks of an individual on smart gadgets.
