Is there any way I can get some extra security on my computer?
I wanted to know if there was anyway to get extra securiy on my computer, such as passwords and such for certain documents. Someone I know has a diary on her computer and her obnoxious little brother got into it. And I don’t want that happening with mine. Any idea how I can set a password or such to keep prying eyes out of my diary?
1) folder lock. Hide it in there. But you gota buy it. = i just crack it =D
2) user accounts. Make your folders private
3) if you intend to hide it from stupid people who dont know how to use computers, set the file to hidden, and change the folder options to not be able to see hidden files or folers.
If its your computer, you can set administrator password protection, by doing it that way, no one will be able to get on line without your password. as you would be the administor and have full control of your computer.
