my computer has a spyware on it called Security Tool how do i get rid of it?
i have to use my computer in safe mode because this Security Tool keeps popping up on the screen. i also cannot go on the internet in normal mode. i did not download this tool it just appeared. tell me what to do. thank you

1st resolution of your issue:
Hi,
u can try doing a SYSTEM RESTORE, doing SYSTEM RESTORE will take back your computer settings back to the normal working condition, when it was not facing this issue.
eg: if your computer was working fine on 20th dec 09 so you can select this date from the RESTORE POINT PAGE
But I would like to inform you that, the date which you will select from the RESTORE POINT PAGE , from that particular date till the time you will perform SYSTEM RESTORE whatever software you have downloaded will get deleted.
eg: if you are doing a SYSTEM RESTORE on 24th dec 09 & you have selected a restore point of earlier date which is say 20th dec 09, so if you have installed any software from 20th dec 09 till 24th dec 09 all the softwares will get deleted.
I hope your issue gets resolved.
2nd way to resolve your issue
You can also go to CONTROL PANEL & remove this programe from the option of
PROGRAMS & FEATURES if you can find the name of this programe in the list.
The path to remove the programe is
CLICK ON START
SELECT CONTROL PANEL
SELECT PROGRAMS & FEATURES
SELECT THE NAME OF THE PROGRAME WHICH YOU ARE FACING ISSUE WITH
