better get some good free security on your pc asap or it is going to act up more than it is now.
Ok, i am going to assume that you have no internet security right now and that you have Microsoft.. I recommend you go online and download Microsoft Security Essentials and run a full scan. Trust me, this is a good anti-virus and its FREE :D I currently have it on my laptop and it works fine. I could also recommend Avast but that takes a bit to get used to because it has a lot of options. MSE is also good because it is really easy to use.
It will ask you what system type you are using. To know, right click on Computer, and click on options. You will get your answer under System, next to System Type.
If you want to remove an application COMPLETELY without leaving junk behind, download Revo Uninstaller. I use it all the time and it works perfectly.

Labtop is a table in a lab, You mean laptop ? ~
Edit : You will not be able to install anything until you remove Norton, Down load some free thing, and then use the removal tool for norton. http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Norton-Removal-Tool-Download-26173.html
Once removed, then install your freebie thing on your laptop ~
