In 2023, the State Department’s ‘Rewards for Justice’ program issued rewards for any information that could link Hive or other groups targeting US critical national infrastructure to a foreign government.

Indian security forces foil bid to smuggle mobile phones to Bangladesh



The seizure was made by the troops of 70th Battalion under South Bengal Frontier.

In a statement, the BSF said that on the basis of information received from intelligence sources, the troops noticed that some plastic packages, tied to banana stems, were floating in the Pagla River towards Bangladesh.

Vigilant security personnel immediately acted on the info and ferreted the packages out of the river. The packages contained 317 pieces of mobile phones of different companies with an estimated total value of 3.88 million rupees (1.78 million baht). The seized goods were handed over to the Police Station English Bazar for further legal action.

Russia-Ukraine war LIVE updates: The fighting between Vladimir Putin’s Russia and Volodymyr Zelensky’s Ukraine is continuing for the 73rd straight day, with no signs of peace between the two countries. The Ukrainian forces have accused Russia of violating ceasefire aimed at evacuating civilians who were trapped underground in the bombed Azovstal steel work plant. 

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Friday to take a “powerful step” and visit Kyiv on May 9.

While the United Kingdom is donating an additional 287 mobile generators to the war-torn country, US president Joe Biden is set to sign lend-lease for Ukraine into law on May 9.

9th Circ. Nixes NSO’s Immunity Bid In WhatsApp Hacking Suit


By Hailey Konnath (November 8, 2021, 9:23 PM EST) — The Ninth Circuit on Monday said a California federal judge was correct to refuse to find Israeli spyware company NSO Group immune from litigation over an alleged WhatsApp hacking, ruling that the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act doesn’t protect private companies.

The three-judge panel shot down NSO’s argument that it could claim foreign sovereign immunity under doctrines that apply to foreign officials, noting that the law governing the issue “has roots extending back to our earliest history as a nation.”
