With more people working from home using the Internet, cyber-criminals have been presented with more targets to prey on.

Manager of McAfee in South Africa, Carlo Bolzonello, said this after the recent ransomware attack on the department of Justice and Constitutional Development’s systems.

Bolzonello said in a recent statement, cyber-criminals behind the increasing attacks are introducing new threats and tactics to extract valuable data and millions in ransoms from prominent sectors.
