OnePlus 12 receives new firmware with the March 2024 security patch

It is that time of month when OnePlus 12 users should check their device’s settings for OTA updates, as the company announced a new update with the latest security patch.

After rolling out the OxygenOS 14.0.0.602 early last month, the company is now rolling out the 14.0.0.604 version for the OnePlus 12 devices across the Indian, North American, and Global regions, OnePlus shared in its accompanying community post over the weekend.

The new firmware released across regions brings the latest March 2024 Android security patch, and the shared changelog notably has system-wide improvements and fixes.

The latest update allows users to “create photo collages without frames in Photos.” A new “Partial screenshot” option has been added to the Smart Sidebar in the latest OxygenOS 14 release.

OnePlus Open’s latest update lets you set a specific exposure value in Photo mode


The OnePlus Open is receiving a new software update. It doesn’t upgrade the foldable from Android 13 to Android 14 but brings some system and communications improvements. More importantly, it now lets users set a specific exposure value for the camera, but only in the Photo mode.

The update also bumps up the Android security patch level on the OnePlus Open to November 2023. It has firmware CPH2551_13.2.0.201(EX01) and requires a download of about 510MB. You can check the screenshots below for the update’s changelog.

OnePlus Nord CE gets July 2023 Android security patch


OnePlus has announced the incremental rollout of the OxygenOS 13 F.50 update for users of the OnePlus Nord CE. This update is currently being rolled out in batches to users in the India (IN) region.

The OxygenOS 13 F.50 update brings a couple of improvements and bug fixes, aiming to enhance the overall user experience on the OnePlus Nord CE. One notable enhancement is the integration of the July 2023 Android security patch, which boosts system security.

Furthermore, the update addresses an issue that could lead to stuttering on the Home screen after unlocking the phone.

With the OxygenOS 13 F.50 update, OnePlus has also rectified an issue that could cause the Photos app to crash under certain scenarios.
