Android 13 Device List: One UI 5, OxygenOS 13, MIUI 13.5/14, Realme UI 4.0, ColorOS 13

Android 13 is a start that everyone is looking at, and Google has prepared Android 13 recipes for a wide variety of Android smartphone makers including Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, and more with a huge supported device list. Android 13 is promising and so does its new features.

According to Google, Android 13 brings you to brand new user interface changes including the copy and past UI. Aside from the traditional text management options, this new addition confirms that the content has been successfully copied and will let you preview the content right on the spot.

Now let’s talk about the themed app icons, an advanced version of last year’s Dynamic theme feature powered by the Material You Android design library. This new feature will allow you to add a tint color combination to the app based on your current dynamic theme color palette, which is cool and changes the entire user interface in a new way.

Not only the user interface but the Android 13 lays a foundation of better privacy and security control options such as categorized storage permission – one for photos and videos and the other for music and audio. This approach further strengthens the user control over the privacy section.

There are other new Android 13 features specially tailored for intelligent user experience such as smart media control, separate app language support, and better UI support for big-screen devices and there’s a lot more to explore on this upcoming Android version.

Since these phone makers are all relied on the Android version, they will also be adopting these useful Android 13 features onboard on their customized software skins such as One UI 5.0, OxygenOS 13, Realme UI 4.0, ColorOS 13, MIUI 13.5 or subsequent, Funtouch OS 13, and others.

Although, Phone makers are yet to confirm their device list for Android 13 but we can see some of them ahead…

It comes with new personalisation options, high efficiency, system settings, launcher settings, system and privacy settings, along with many other new features for Realme X7 Pro. The smartphone was launched in February and came with Android 10-based Realme UI out-of-the-box. Realme X7 Pro’s display features a 120Hz refresh rate.

Realme X7 Pro update changelog

The update for Realme X7 Pro (Review) was announced through a post on the Realme community forum. The update brings a slew of changes to the Realme smartphone such as Personalisation settings that now let users make changes to the UI of their smartphone. New wallpapers can also be created by using the colours available in the photos. The UI also supports third-party app icons on the home screen. Additionally, the UI also has three new Dark mode settings — Enhanced, Medium, and Gentle.

Realme has also added high efficiency settings that allows users to drag and drop texts, images, and files from a floating window or between apps in the split-screen mode. The editing page of the Smart Sidebar has also been optimised. Users can now combine two or more folders or completely remove one in the smartphone’s Launcher. As for the system settings, users can now make Tone Tunes by consecutively linking multiple tunes to make one melody. The time duration for the Do Not Disturb mode can also be set now. Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom are now receiving stable Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0

Realme continues updating its older devices to Realme UI 2.0, and the X3 series are next in line. Both the Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom got their Open Beta releases back in April, and today the stable update is seeding.

The new package is 668MB in size and is hitting users with the Beta first. Regular users who didn’t get to participate in the testing process should be up for the new software “soon”.

The Realme X3 phones will get plenty of new color options for theme customization. There’s also Realme Share that allows quicker file transfer between phones over Wi-Fi, as well as Dual Mode Music Share which serves a similar purpose for audio tracks.

Android 11 and Realme UI 2.0 are also big on security and privacy, and now users will get the feature to hide all apps behind a PIN code. There’s also the Invisible Door which feeds empty data to apps that are collecting personal information, but users have to turn it on.

Sadly, Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom won’t get AOD as their LCD screens were deemed too draining when that is enabled.
