“Blind” Previews Intriguing Ties Between Jung Eun Ji, Taecyeon, Ha Seok Jin, And More With Relationship Chart

The production team of “Blind” has revealed a character relationship chart!

tvN’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Blind” is a mystery thriller that depicts the story of people who have unfairly become victims because they are ordinary and perpetrators who have closed their eyes to the uncomfortable truths. The story centers around detectives, judges, law school students, and jurors.

The relationship chart allows viewers to see at a glance the intertwined relationships of the characters involved in the mysterious serial murder of a jury, stimulating the viewers’ curiosity.

In the chart, from top left to right are the two brothers, Ryu Sung Joon (2PM’s Taecyeon) and Ryu Sung Hoon (Ha Seok Jin), and Jo Eun Ki (Apink’s Jung Eun Ji), who is one of the nine jurors. Detective Ryu Sung Joon and judge Ryu Sung Hoon, who are the sons of Supreme Court justice Ryu Il Ho (Choi Hong Il) and Minister of Welfare nominee Na Gook Hee (Jo Kyung Sook), are on a hunt for the unknown serial killer of the so-called “Joker’s Murder Case” who leaves a brutal signature mark at each crime scene.

Overly motivated and passionate, detective Ryu Sung Joon always makes his older brother Ryu Sung Hoon concerned. The previously released teaser captures the two brothers not being able to trust each other. Anticipation is high for whether these brothers can overcome their distrust and find the culprit.

The chart also depicts the family relationship of Jo Eun Ki, a social worker and juror who is pursuing the truth of the murder case along with Ryu Sung Joon and Ryu Sung Hoon. Growing up with her mother Jo In Sook (Jo Yeon Hee), who took on the responsibility of her family’s livelihood on her own, Jo Eun Ki went through many hurdles in life and became blunt about things. Even when her life is at risk, Jo Eun Ki remains calm. Viewers are curious to find out whether Jo Eun Ki can survive from the unidentified killer who is targeting the jury.

The names and nicknames of the eight jurors involved in the trial of death along with Jo Eun Ki have also been revealed. From top left to right are Kang Young Ki (Kim Ha Kyun), who retired as managing director at a large firm, Bae Chul Ho (Jo Seung Yeon),…

Experts are split on whether the relationship between ethical hackers and government has improved

LAS VEGAS — Cyber experts are about evenly split on whether the often-complicated relationship between the government and ethical hackers has improved in the past two years.

Those years included the launch of a slew of programs inviting ethical hackers to search for bugs in government computer systems and a landmark Supreme Court ruling limiting when prosecutors can bring cases against security researchers that violate tech products’ narrow terms of service.

But they also included a renewed government push to limit the strongest forms of encryption that was widely panned by cybersecurity experts. Former president Donald Trump’s embrace of conspiracy theories related to cybersecurity, election fraud and other topics also spurred broad cynicism in the hacker community, according to experts in our Cybersecurity 202 Network poll.

In general, the government is less trusted these days,” said Paul Rosenzweig, a Department of Homeland Security official during the George W. Bush administration who now runs Red Branch Consulting. “My sense is that relationships are weaker now, rather than stronger.”

Overall, 51 percent of Network respondents said the relationship between the ethical hacking community and the U.S. government has improved since 2019, while 49 percent said it had not.

We’re releasing the poll during the Black Hat cybersecurity conference in Las Vegas, which, along with the adjoining conference Def Con, is often a gauge of the relationship between cybersecurity and government.

That relationship hit a low point in 2013 after revelations about broad National Security Agency spying by leaker Edward Snowden.

Def Con organizers asked federal employees not to attend that year. NSA Director Keith Alexander spoke at Black Hat and was met with heckling and jeers.

Things had improved significantly by 2019 — the last year the conferences were held in person. That year, 72 percent of Network respondents told us the relationship had gotten better.

Trump, tech executives may try to untangle relationship

U.S. president-elect Donald Trump is meeting this week in New York with top tech executives, including Oracle CEO Safra Catz, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Alphabet CEO Larry Page and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, according to news reports.

Invitations to the meeting were signed by Trump’s son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner, chief of staff Reince Priebus, and billionaire tech investor Peter Thiel, a Silicon Valley figure who came out openly early on in favor of Trump.

The relationship between Trump and Silicon Valley companies has been difficult with some senior tech executives openly backing his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the run-up to the presidential elections. The president-elect and tech companies also appear to have differing views on issues such as immigration, outsourcing abroad, clean energy, net neutrality, encryption, surveillance and on restoring lost manufacturing jobs in the U.S.
