What is a good free Virus or Internet Security Software?
What is a good virus or internet security freeware I can download from the internet? (Other then Norton, Mcafee or AVG). This is an older laptop that it’s for so I prefer something that doesn’t make a machine run too slow. I’m interested in free trials too.

IMPORTANT!! Remember – only install ONE AV. Having 2 AVs may sound great but they can cause conflicts with each other. http://www.whatthetech.com/2007/10/20/can-i-install-more-than-one-anti-virus/ will provide you with more information.
I will reccomend Avira Antivirus for your lap top. I have lap top too and I’m using Avira.
Just personal opinion of course. I use Avast , I have also got superantispyware and Malwarebytes. I recently changed to Comodo firewall which seems fine and I seem to boot up quicker. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly.
