Why is my Norton Internet security window popping up all the time?

Once in a while my Norton Internet security window pops up every 30 seconds or so, asking whether we should permit this to come through? (It happens about 5-10 times a week). It does matter what I say, like permit, don’t permit, block always etc., It continues to pop up until I turn off the computer and start over again. What is wrong and what should I do about it?

You should keep clicking “Permit”. And notice that everytime it comes up, if it’s the same file or not that it has questions about.

mine does tjhat to sometimes, anything that might even be remotely questionable as far as a virus goes, norton will ask you if you want to permit that screen from coming up,and it should tell you what it recommends you do when it gives you options. do what it recommends rather than having to shut down and restart again

basically the firewalls doing its job and asking if you want access to the site etc….
most of it can be annoying but it will die down as you get it set right

Norton is the biggest fraud ever invented. Not just it is eating all your memory resources but it is terribly invasive and annoying.

Switch to AVG free or pro edition . Be a free man don’t depend on Norton for everythings!!
