Will McAfee Security run scans and defrags if the computer is off?
It’s really self explanatory. If my computer’s info is important, which I doubt, I have a Lenovo X200 with vista, McAfee version 9.15 (security center) and version 13.15 virus scanner.

No. Nothing happens with the computer off.

any kind of security or program don’t work when your computer is off.
No. no machine will process anything with the power off.
McAfee will not do anything with pc on or off !! It is actually classed as malware. don’t just take my word for it. google it.
