PLDT Home equips fiber subscribers with Kaspersky Premium Security
PLDT Home is partnering with ICT supplier Questronix Corp. to bring Kaspersky security solutions to its fiber subscribers. This initiative responds to the increasing cyber threats affecting Filipinos, highlighting the vulnerability of anyone connected to the internet.
Starting June 2024, PLDT Home Fiber subscribers will receive a complimentary 24-month Kaspersky Premium Security license for three personal devices.
“This is a significant partnership for us as it allows us to help families in securing their connections at home,” said said Jeremiah de la Cruz, SVP and head of Consumer Business – Home, PLDT.
Kaspersky Premium Security, which offers antivirus, privacy and identity protection, performance enhancement, unlimited VPN, and a password manager, soon will be available to PLDT Home customers.
Eugene Kaspsersky, founder of the cybersecurity solutions provider, hopes to provide homes with less complicated security solution. He underscored that while it is important to raise awareness on cybersecurity, it is also imperative to provide people with security services that would enable them to have peace of mind and navigate the digital world safely.

The security suite uses a multilayered approach, including signature-based detection, heuristic analysis, behavioral monitoring, web protection, and automatic updates, to protect against a wide range of malware threats. In 2022, Kaspersky blocked over 52,000 financial phishing incidents in the Philippines.
Kaspersky Premium Security offers real-time protection for devices connected to the internet, scanning files, emails, and web traffic for threats. It also protects data on unsecured Wi-Fi networks and allows remote computer management via the My Kaspersky website.
By offering Kaspersky Premium Security to all Fiber customers, PLDT Home aims to help Filipino households mitigate online risks and combat cybercriminals, enhancing their online experience.
