so literally this system security has changed my desktop, pops up everytime I use windows, and I CANNOT open aNY OTHER WINDOW! not an antivirus program, not even the task manager- it blocks it all. even the internet- I am writing this on another computer.
AND i can’t start in safe mode- my computer says their is an an error and if the problem occurs to check for viruses, but i cannot do that!

I had a major computer problem a few days ago, and I had to reformat my computer. I was using AVG Free Edition to protect my computer, but it didn’t detect a virus that came on my computer and made a lot of things unaccessible.
I’m now using Avast! Professional, and was wondering what was the best all round security program, including internet security that stops unwanted software installing itself etc.

I let a guy who thought he knew what he was doing put an anti-virus software on my computer, but instead it was an actual virus. Now my computer runs really slow and shuts down on its own after being on it for a while. But i need to know what I can do because i start up school on Monday and if my computer is all jacked up I can’t.. HELP!
It won’t allow me to open even Firefox or Internet Explorer and it is extremely frustrating. But remember that I cannot access the internet because Vista Home Security won’t allow me.
