Suppose one had a relatively large program (say 900k SLOC in C#), all commented/documented thoroughly, well organized and working well. The entire code base was written by a single senior developer who no longer with the company. All the code is testable as is and IoC is used throughout—except for some strange reason they did not write any unit tests. Now, your company wants to branch the code and wants unit tests added to detect when changes break the core functionality.

Is it a good idea to work in computer security field?

i am 19 years old and doing my B.E. (bachelor of engineering) in computer,
i am interested in working in computer security field in the future, specifically – protecting databases, designing anti-virus softwares etc.
what special kind of knowledge is required for working in this field i.e. any programming languages to learn etc.
please provide detailed info

Is it a bad idea to go to a ITT-Tech for Computer Security(Bachelors)?

I will be recieving my associates degree from my CC next year majoring in Computer Security…but I feel as if once I’m done I wont have good enough skills….its been all B.S. textbook stuff…..and Tech schools make it seem like they can offer a lot more hands on stuff to get me ready for the real work force
