More than 100 alleged cyber criminals were targeted July 14 in Romania as part of an ongoing investigation by that country and the United States into an Internet fraud ring.

During the Romanian raids, law enforcement authorities in that nation executed 117 searches involving more than 100 individuals.

According to U.S. court documents, in many of the cases, conspirators located in Romania would post items for sale such as cars, motorcycles and boats on Internet auction and online Websites.
