Quantum computer security achievable?
I read somewhere that there’s a process of using quantum uncertainty to make computer codes unbreakable.
I guess as soon as one tries to “crack it” the information is “lost”
Has this been accomplished?
If so how?
This is true and has been accomplished experimentally. However, I should clarify the matter a bit: the main approach is not to store encoded information, but to transmit it between two parties. (We don’t know how to store any quantum information for times longer than a few seconds at all.)
There are even commercial systems implementing quantum key distribution by now.
