Nokia 3.2 receiving April security patch

Nokia 3.2

Nokia 3.2 is a solid continuation of Nokia 3.1 which Nokia Mobile launched together with Nokia 4.2 at MWC2019. Nokia 3.2 users started reporting that their devices started receiving April security patch which should be available globally. The update is bringing 18.76 MB of monthly updates that should make the device more secure. Do check your Nokia 3.2 and update it.

This should be the first security patch after Nokia 3.2 received Android 11 back in March. How is the latest OS holding up? Are you happy with your device running it?

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is receiving One UI 3.1 with March security patch

The new firmware sports version number G770FXXU4EUBA, and while a detailed changelog isn’t available, we know it bumps up the Android security patch on the S10 Lite to March 2021 and doesn’t bring wireless DeX support to the smartphone.

The One UI 3.1 update for the Galaxy S10 Lite is seeding in Spain at the time of writing this, but it should expand to other regions soon.

If you live in Spain and haven’t received One UI 3.1 on your S10 Lite yet, you can try checking it manually by navigating to the Settings > Software update menu on the device.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G is now receiving stable Android 11 update (still based on MIUI 12)

Earlier this month Xiaomi started rolling out the stable Android 11 update for the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro, now their Mi 10T Lite 5G sibling is joining the party with a release on the Global Stable channel. This means that the Mi 10i 5G, which is essentially the same phone, should get the OTA update soon as well.

This update – V12.0.2.0.RJSMIXM – pushes the Android version up to 11, however, MIUI remains at version 12.0. MIUI 12.5 is coming to the device, the official schedule shows that it will arrive in late Q2.

Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G is now receiving stable Android 11 update (still based on MIUI 12)

Anyway, back to the current update. Its changelog is pretty laconic – you get Android 11, the January security patch and “increased system security” (with no further details).

If your phone isn’t seeing the update yet, you can manually download it from here. It’s a pretty hefty 2.5 GB firmware, so you better take this opportunity to back up your data while waiting for the download to complete.

By the way, the Redmi 10X 4G is receiving a similar update in China – stable MIUI 12.0 based on Android 11. The Redmi Note 9 is based on the 10X 4G, but so far there are no signs of a global rollout for this particular update.
