Will a single computer comprimise the security of an entire network?

Will a computer with viruses/spyware connected to a SSID secured wireless network comprimise the safety/privacy of information being sent on other computers connected to this network? The computer that may be infected has Comodo firewall on it, while mine(not infected) only has Windows firewall.
I have windows firewall, Trendmicro antivirus/spyware and SuperAntispyware
