I uninstalled ESET Smart Security (the trial version) using the Add/Remove program/s and deleting the ESET folder in program files, but is that enough? Or is there a website where I could download an uninstaller tool to completely delete all the remnants of ESET Smart Security in my computer before installing another AntiVirus software?

I have an expired Norton Internet Security 2008 and I’m planning to get a Norton 2009 over the weekend. When I install, should I uninstall the 2008 one first, and then install my new one? Or will the 2009 version overwrite the old files? Also, if I bought a different brand, I should uninstall Norton 2008 first right?

For some reason it managed to get itself into my computer. Same virus killed my computer in early 2009 and had to pay a lot to get it fixed.
