Is Mcaffee security a great way to protect my computer?

   if not, use microsoft security essentials, tho you wil get tons of responses for malwarebytes, avg, avira, iobits, etc.

   I hate both of them, they both allowed viruses onto my computer. Plus Norton annoys you SO MUCH with updates and crap. I downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials, and haven’t had a problem yet (crosses fingers). Here’s the site to try it:

   I use AVG free. and am still going fine
