F-bombing cop recorded threatening to sic dog on driver to rip him up

Getting pulled over by the cops can be stressful, especially if one of the cops is shouting, cursing and threatening to sic a 90-pound dog on a motorist to rip the *bleep* out of him. The Atlantic City cop was dropping f-bombs all over the place, doing so at least 10 times in a one-minute, 20-second video clip of the traffic stop incident which was posted on Facebook.

I don’t see how you could help but be offended by the video. If not by the cop’s spewing of foul-language, then by the threats the officer made.

It is unclear why the cops pulled over the young men, but one of the cops nuked out upon discovering the driver was using his phone to film them. One of the unidentified cops said, “Listen there’s two ways that this can go. Take that phone and stick it out of my face. I’m not gonna tell you again.”

Take a look at Boston’s runaway train barreling through two stops without a driver

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) has released surveillance camera video of an unintentionally driverless Red Line train zipping through two commuter stops in December, a potential catastrophe triggered by the operator’s decision to wrap a rubber cord around the vehicle’s accelerator before stepping out to address a signal problem. The train left without him and travelled through a total of four stations before stopping after power was cut to the third rail.

While the episode itself was dramatic, to say to the least, the video – even this edited version from WCVB Channel 5 TV — is underwhelming.

Even the people on the platforms didn’t seem to realize anything was wrong.

This driver should give up coffee — and driving — before someone gets hurt

Only my preternaturally quick reflexes prevented a young driver from harming us both this morning … all because she needed to stop at Dunkin’ Donuts.

My daily commute includes a left-hand turn that traffic engineers were smart enough to equip with a very long left-hand turn lane because it funnels into a busy intersection. Today I entered that lane with nothing but empty pavement between my car and the light; Dunkin’ Donuts and a few other businesses to my left. Being a careful driver, I was watching for cars exiting those establishments on my left, as that happens regularly.

Suddenly, like a car out of hell, our young driver passes my moving vehicle on the right and swerves directly in front of it, not to join me in the left-hand turn lane, which would have been reckless enough, but to reach the Dunkin’ Donuts and order some ridiculous cup of froth and maybe a box of Munchkins, given her general maturity level.
