How come every time I open Microsoft Word, a Norton Internet Security window pops up?
It says, “The virus definitions required by Norton Internet Security are not valid …”
I don’t understand how virus protection and Word are at all related.

Every time I log onto my computer, the Windows Security Center pops up saying my firewall is turned off?
/in Computer SecurityI have Windows Vista and every time I log onto my computer the Windows Security Center pops up saying my firewall is turned off and I have to manually turn it on every single time. Also, the Windows Defender does the same thing and when I try to manually turn it back it, it somehow goes off again within a short period of time or it just doesn’t turn on at all. Can anyone help me out please?
Can Norton Internet Security record every single thing you say in an instant messenger?

It’s just my NIS says it can ”examine emails and instant messages then blocks and removes threats”, so I was just wondering whether that meant instant messages could be recorded and read?
