I don’t want to go buy a VCR and record it onto tape. Is there a way to record the video directly to my computer…i.e. a program that will record from the camera?
what kind of software do I need to record security footage onto a computer
Is there any software/ programs that are required to record activity from a security camera? We are in desperate need to find a semi cheap way to do this, since the company where I work is too cheap to pay for a system that would prevent them from getting ripped off.
We are experiencing a rash of break-ins and need to catch these jerks before they strike again.

I have Windows Vista and every time I log onto my computer the Windows Security Center pops up saying my firewall is turned off and I have to manually turn it on every single time. Also, the Windows Defender does the same thing and when I try to manually turn it back it, it somehow goes off again within a short period of time or it just doesn’t turn on at all. Can anyone help me out please?
